What does Faith look like?

Something Holy Spirit revealed really challenged my daily walk to the core. In James, He says faith without deeds, without works is dead. I've always felt that was referring to my faith in Him, and the works are how I give back to the Kingdom through telling my testimony, helping at the church, the giving of my time, gifts and resources. While this is true, we as Kingdom dwellers who are in this world, but not of this world go through many storms that require our faith in the promises and unchanging character of God. Since Faith and Deeds cannot be separated, can deeds of our faith in every storm be referring to EVERY thought we choose to entertain, the EVERY word we speak, our attitude, demeanor and body language we project through the storm?

Try replacing the word "Faith" where you see it in scripture with "Trust in God" - Listen to how it changes the depth of the following verses:
Hebrews 11:6 - Without Trust in God it is impossible to please God.
James 1:6,8: But when you ask Him, be sure that your Trust in God is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind... Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do."
Luke 7:9 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you , I have not found such great Trust in God even in Israel."
1 Cor 2:5 "That your Trust in God should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."
Here is Webster's definition of Trust:
1. reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
2. confident expectation of something; hope.
3. confidence in the certainty of future payment for property or goods received; credit: to sell merchandise on trust.
4. a person on whom or thing on which one relies: God is my trust.
5. the condition of one to whom something has been entrusted.
6. the obligation or responsibility imposed on a person in whom confidence or authority is placed: a position of trust.
7. charge, custody, or care: to leave valuables in someone's trust.
8. something committed or entrusted to one's care for use or safekeeping, as an office, duty, or the like; responsibility; charge.

What do you think truly Trusting in God looks like through His eyes?
Is is possible to truly Trust in God to resolve a problem and still worry about it?
I'm not saying be slouthful or lazy - but to be purposeful in our listening for marching orders, patient to wait for instruction, and in ready position to act quickly at His call.
If what we are having Faith for lines up with the promises of God, True Trust in God frees us from having to know when and how He's going to do it.
Something really fun - go to an online bible (I like http://www.youversion.com/) and search on the word "Trust". Ask Holy Spirit for revelation and understanding. Here are a few of them:
1 Peter 2:6 - For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Psalm 9:10 - Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken thise who seek You.
Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Nah 1:7 The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
Rom 10:11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame."
